WHO I AM

Kelley Rohrborn, MA, CCC-SLP

My career as a SLP began in 2012 after graduating with my Master’s degree in speech pathology from the University of Central Florida. I worked with adults in a variety of settings including acute care, skilled nursing, outpatient rehabilitation, and home health. I was able to focus knowledge gained from my education into dysphagia treatment, stroke rehabilitation and dementia care. My spouse is active duty Navy and we were transferred from Florida to California. Upon moving to Southern California, I was presented an opportunity to begin working as a speech therapist with a wonderful pediatric practice. I realized I had unleashed a new passion for the diagnosis and treatment of speech and language disorders in children in a one on one clinical setting. I eventually became Clinical Director of the practice, facilitating the growth of the company from 2 locations to 7 locations throughout Southern California. Within that role, I also supervised Speech Language Pathology Assistants, Clinical Fellows, and partnered with Chapman University and Pasadena City College as clinical educator for their speech language pathology assistant program. We were so excited to learn our new military orders would be taking us back to Florida. My dream of opening my own private practice in Florida has finally come to fruition and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve my community here at home.
